The Monmouth Table
The Monmouth Table was born on the pebbles of Monmouth Beach in Lyme Regis, Dorset; after a summer spent eating barbequed fish speared just off shore. Our aim is to bring seasonal and honest food from along the Jurassic Coast with pop up dining events cooked by chef Annie Coplestone and managed by Carlotta Paolieri.
we are born on the sea
We focus on cooking fish, making the most of our location and our access to the freshest of hauls. We also cook beautiful, organic vegetables sourced from local farms to go with it. Our small kitchen requires us to be as close to zero-waste as possible, which guarantees freshness, but also means that not everything on the menu may be available all night – so get it whilst it’s hot!
The Monmouth Table believes in freshly cooked food bursting with flavours and aims to provide an authentic and enjoyable atmosphere to share with your fellow diners.

Carlotta worked in the hospitality business for the past 10 years in London starting as a waitress at Sketch in Conduit Street; which opened the door of fine dining standards in food and service. Working her way up as bartender and manager in various restaurants before heading to Australia for a years experience, Carlotta later arrived back in the UK, where she met Annie and they decided to put into practice their shared experience and love for great food.
Annie started her cooking career in neighbouring town Axminster, working at River Cottage at the age of 19 and moving later to the renowned River Café in Hammersmith. She then travelled to Barcelona where she lived and worked for four years sampling tapas throughout Spain, before returning to the UK in 2018 to work at award winning Moro in London. Annie brings back to her hometown her passion for locally sourced quality produce and fresh Mediterranean flavours.
